It is important for everyone to respect the history of Karaoke and know how it was created because in recent years, Karaoke has become very popular everywhere.

A Japanese drummer Daisuke Inoue invented Karaoke machine and has fueled the Karaoke culture into what it is today. Karaoke machine is nothing more than an amplifier, a coin machine and a car stereo and this is according to Inoue. Inoue leased these machines to local bars, which would let any patron to try their luck in singing a song and this brought Karaoke machines into the popular scene. Japanese electronics companies furnished their own devices for personnel usages and commercial by taking the advantage of the karaoke trend.

In Asia, Karaoke had caught on as a popular trend in 1980s. No songs were translated into another Asian language before they could be used for singing and that was the reason for success of Karaoke in Asia. Major companies started replacing the compact disk and cassette tape as the technology of the Karaoke machine was also improved. They created a special type of compact disk that allowed music videos to be played along with the Karaoke in a popular channel MTV.

In US, Karaoke was not extremely popular at first, but later when people started to invest in home theater systems it started to catch on slowly. It was in 90s when Karaoke machines actually made into United States and that is when they brought the first machine that would download a Karaoke song that someone wanted to sing. These machines would download the desired song with the internet using a dial up connection.

At present in the 21st century, Karaoke is the mainstream part of culture. First Karaoke machines laugh at the best when Karaoke bars are now the common venue to sing and feature an impressive array of technology. With the addition in improvement of internet access and DVD, Karaoke libraries are no longer limited to a set number of songs. Karaokes new equipment can modify the Karaoke song to fin in to the perfect vocal range of the singer. Assuming that the technology behind will continue to improve in future compared to the advances of Karaoke created in 1970s.
